Laguna Vista, TX 8 miles west of South Padre Island
Clarke Design served as Project leader, lead design and planning as well as project management and fabrication on all interpretive exhibits on this 10 acre site. Working closely with Cameron County and Megamorphosis architecture to integrate the exhibits with the exterior landscape. Clarke Design designed interactive interpretive panels and dioramas throughout the site. Clarke Design's innovative design takes this outdoor experience to the next level in many ways. We designed and fabricated exterior dioramas with over 20 "one of a kind" scientifically accurate native animals in full color. This is a like no other. The animals are set in the REAL natural environments. Each of the 4 dioramas are bookended with interactive interpretive panels. Another first and "one of kind" interactive exterior exhibits is a 250sf Texas granite topographic watershed map of the region. Almost completed, it will have fountains raining water on visitors on hot days and showing how water flows to the gulf of Mexico.
We were privileged to work with Cameron Co.
